Humsafar Child Safety Standards

These are the child safety standards for Humsafar, an Android app developed by AnitaX Labs.

18+ Only

Humsafar is an AI companion app for adults. It is intended only for users 18 years of age or older, and every user must confirm they are 18 or older during sign-up.

Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation

AnitaX Labs has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any content, request or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers children is prohibited on Humsafar.

• AI companions on Humsafar are always adults.
• Companions refuse sexual or romantic content involving anyone under 18, and our safety systems block such requests.
• Accounts that appear to belong to minors are suspended and deleted.
• Accounts that attempt to create, request or share CSAE content or CSAM are permanently banned.

How to Report

• In the app: long-press a companion's reply, or open the chat menu, and tap Report a reply. Reports are reviewed by our team.
• By email: write to anitax.labs@gmail.com with details of the concern (and, where possible, your account email and the date of the conversation).

How We Handle CSAM

When we find or are made aware of CSAM, we remove it, preserve what the law requires, ban the account involved, and report it to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Indian authorities, such as through the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in), in line with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Compliance With Child Safety Laws

AnitaX Labs complies with applicable child safety laws, including the POCSO Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 in India, and cooperates with law enforcement on child safety matters.
