Delete Your Humsafar Account

This page explains how to delete your Humsafar account and data. Humsafar is an Android app developed by AnitaX Labs.

How to Delete Your Humsafar Account

Option 1: In the app

• Open Humsafar and go to Profile.
• Tap Delete account.
• Confirm the deletion.

Your account is scheduled for permanent deletion and is deleted within 7 days. If you sign in again within those 7 days, the deletion request is cancelled and your account stays as it was.

Option 2: By email

Email anitax.labs@gmail.com from the email address you use to sign in to Humsafar, with the subject Delete my Humsafar account. We delete your account and data within 7 days of receiving your request and reply to confirm.

What Is Permanently Deleted Within 7 Days

• Your account and profile (name, email, birth year, gender, city and state, languages, about me, interests and other profile details)
• Your chats and voice notes
• Memories your companions saved about you
• Photos you uploaded (profile photos and photos sent in chat)
• Your phone number
• Your coins and gift history
• Device and notification tokens
• Relationship data with your companions (relationship level, streaks and similar progress)

What We Keep, and For How Long

• Payment and invoice records that Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep, for up to 8 years. These records hold the transaction details only (such as amount, date and payment reference) and never contain your chat content.
• Security logs, where they exist, for up to 90 days, to protect the service against fraud and abuse.
• Anonymised aggregate analytics (for example, total daily sign-ups), which no longer identify you.
